Our fall brochure lands in mailboxes soon (today, tomorrow, next week?) and we couldn't be more excited about what's inside — dozens of courses designed to provide clarity and context, along with doses of beauty, joy and inspiration. On the docket? War and peace in the Persian Gulf, the economics of health care in the Trump era, AI facts and fallacies, the life and times of MLK, Jr., cybersecurity, the string quartet, opera, Irish literature, planning for retirement, Josephine Baker, biology and society, and more.

Fall registration opens on Monday, July 14 at 9 AM. Classes start in mid-September through mid-October in Berkeley and in Lafayette, plus online.

Along with 3-, 4- and 6-week courses, we're also delighted to offer four standalone events with Berkeley Chancellor Emerita Carol Christ showcasing select operas from the upcoming season of the San Francisco Opera. These presentations will be open to members and non-members.
