Bring the Joy of Learning to Your Community

OLLI @ Berkeley is a learning community that brings older adults together to explore big ideas, discover new perspectives and learn from some of the best minds at UC Berkeley and beyond.

We’d love to bring that spirit of learning to your community by creating a tailored educational experience shaped around the interests of your residents.

Why Lifelong Learning Matters

Learning is about more than acquiring knowledge. It’s about keeping our brains stimulated and engaged while fostering social connections — an important part of healthy aging.

What We Offer

Our organizational membership gives your community an engaging and flexible learning experience:

  • Curated courses: Select from dozens of courses in history, art, literature, music, film, nature, and more — available via livestream or recording — taught by Berkeley faculty and other top scholars. Dive into inspiring classes, such as "Bach's Muse: The Goldberg Variations," "Sacred Mountains of the World," "Athens: The Urban Heart of the Greek World and Beyond," and many others. Our archive is deep and varied, with something to spark everyone's curiosity.
  • Keep the conversation going: Extend the learning beyond the course with the help of discussion prompts developed with faculty input and, if desired, facilitated by an OLLI member. Encourage conversations that are rich, personal and engaging.
  • Building connections: Bring residents together through a shared learning experience and create opportunities for them to forge meaningful relationships.
