About the Speaker

Christine Schoefer is co-director of the self-defense program at Oakland's Hand to Hand martial arts school. She has taught self-defense to hundreds of people in the Bay Area at schools and colleges, businesses and non-profits, senior centers, and women shelters. Her passion is empowering people with tips, tricks and strategies for staying safe whether they are 8 or 80.
