Let’s Get Engaged: Strategies of Civic Engagement for the 2024 Elections

Another election year is here and, with it, all the anxiety of wondering how things will turn out in the end. It’s easy to feel helpless about the outcome, but one way to turn anxiety into empowerment is to become engaged with the political process. This OLLI @Berkeley Town Hall panel discussion will offer constructive strategies for how to engage with politics in ways that allow us to feel both helpful and hopeful. Come learn how to shed apathy and despair for empowerment and empathy. Facilitated by Berkeley professor Darren Zook.
