"Joy of Singing" is physical, informal, and lively, building technical vocal understanding through a purposeful warm-up, learning six to eight unison songs, rounds, and part-songs with harmony, resulting in an instant chorus. The course guides and supports everyone, no matter their vocal ability or experience, to improve their understanding of the voice and to have the pleasure of singing with others.

Member Praise for Lauren Carley

OLLI is fortunate to have a vocal/singing teacher of this caliber.

Lauren so knowledgable, supportive, warm and easily understood. She taught us things about the human anatomy and vocalizing that we could never have learned by ourselves.

I loved the fact that Lauren is so inclusive and non judgmental. She is very knowledgable and presents voice as an instrument.
