This class will foster the fun, vitality, and warmth of friends sharing a conversation about a great film they’ve just seen. Before meeting, participants will watch four films selected for their engaging themes, issues, storytelling, and acting (students will receive notes about what to watch for). We will then meet online for a lecture and discussion about the films’ elements. Two of the four movies we'll discuss are The Big Short and To Kill a Mockingbird. Note: The full movie list will be provided before the start of the course.
Harry Chotiner served as an editor at Socialist Review magazine, a reader at Zoetrope Studios, and a story editor at CBS.
