Economics and Politics of the 2024 Election, with Jon Haveman and Howard Schweber
The coming election brings with it some stark economic and political choices. Bay Area economist Jon Haveman and political scientist Howard Schweber will discuss what this election and its outcome might bring. One vision is of an economy unfettered by taxes and regulations while the other is likely a perpetuation of the last four years of government investment in the economy. There hasn't been an election with such different choices in some time and contemplating their implications is vital for our nation's future vitality.
