We are living in a moment where the idea of economic justice seems to be everywhere, but without any agreement of what that might look like. What is “affordable” housing, for example, and how do we best create it—so-called laws of free-market supply and demand, or government intervention? Should we tax the rich, and if so, how rich is “rich”? Words like “abundance” and “affordability” are already on the American campaign trail, but what they actually mean and how (and if) we can actually achieve them will be at the center of this timely course.
