This group seeks to better understand climate change issues and find ways to be involved in improving public and political awareness. Examples include sharing reading materials, working to stop the planned coal export terminal in the Oakland harbor, promoting further OLLI climate change classes, and fostering cooperation among the varied other Bay Area groups involved in this subject. Meetings are from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on the first and third Fridays of the month at a home in North Berkeley.
