What is an Interest Circle?
Interest Circles are one of our ways to promote community and continuity over the summer and winter breaks in our class schedules. An Interest Circle is a self-organized discussion or activity group, proposed by members and coordinated by participants. Past interest circles have included a Shakespeare play-reading group, Lucille's Lunch Bunch restaurant exploration group, a group centered on the energy crisis, a poetry writing group, several film groups, and an international fiction reading group. If students in a particular course want to continue meeting and discussing as a group, this is a way for that to happen.
